I am having a hard time figuring out what this opening is for in the sink cabinet of Vandejo. It there in such a way that it really looks like it should be there. But I am not able to find other pictures of this cabinet that show what it might be for. Is it stock, or no?

I agree now. I’ve talked to a few others and while that cut was made very clean, it’s definitely a hack.
I believe that the opening was for an accessory air conditioner. Check this link from the Samba and see if it matches yours.
