VW Eurovan gets a new windshield

Kind of hard to tell, but you can see the crack in the upper driver side corner here.  I didn’t know about this crack until the day I went and saw it in person.  A quick look online showed a replacement cost of around $250.  The seller agreed to take that much off that asking price with no issues.  A quick order online with SafeLite and they were out in two days (this morning) to get it Continue reading ‘VW Eurovan gets a new windshield’

A new VW in the family

After selling the Dodge Sprinter, we needed to get another vehicle. After quite a few weeks of debating on whether we should pick up a Eurovan or a Vanagon as my wife’s new daily driver, we went with a 2003 Eurovan GLS. Safety and reliability were some of the key factors we were keeping in mind. Although I can’t work on most of the Eurovan stuff like I can with the aircooled engines, the ease of use and reliability are higher.
